I always had a corded table saw until recently my setup was just a shop vac plunged into the same power strip as the saw both turned on the just hit the switch on the power strip for on and off, the end of a craftsman shop vac fits perfectly in the hole

Works fine untill the filter clogs up... keeps overheating every 2 minutes, need to cool for 5 minutes then. Cant remove the filter cap to clean the dirt. You can see the moss, grass and dirt in the filter but you cant access to clean it. I tried an industrial vacuum to clean it but just cant reach it. Terrible design!! Do not buy it

could it be used wtih one set of battery?

Crap product. Replacement blades are almost as expensive as product itself. Well done Bosch for another throwaway pile of junk.

Thanks for sharing! I have a Bosch GBM 9-16 mixing drill that will only start if I manually turn the chuck by hand when the trigger is pulled. Once I do that and it starts, it stays on. If I stop the drill, I have to go through the process again to get it going. Does this seem like a brush issue as well? I'm a drywaller, so I don't know enough to assume if the problem is with the triggering or the motor. Thanks again for the great video 😊

Junk, 3 degrees off and there is no available recalibration. I have a fluke 87 V tester, mercury thermometer, Rheem thermostat and a digital table multi air, humidity etc reader. All show 20c +/- 1c… this shows 17c, walls are 16c.

That’s a palm grip sander (goes up and down with the wood grain) the orbital is circular and goes in a circular motion (hence the name orbital)

I have the 1600 version, which is basically the same. I've had it for 23 years. It is fine for woody material, but woe betide trying to get leafy branches to go through without clogging. The design is pretty rubbish, really. Bosch designers must have known about the clogging problem, yet they designed a machine that is difficult and time-consuming to take apart in order to remove a blockage. Health and safety, I suppose. Adults cannot be trusted to clear a blockage in the most straightforward manner by disconnecting power, then removing the top chute. But I'm now a dab hand at removing the chute! Just to make life even more difficult, the Bosch designers specified special screws to fix the chute to the body. These screws require a special screwdriver. However, I've replaced my screws with bog-standard Philips screws. Having removed the screws holding the chute, it can be lifted off. Then remove some (not all) of the side screws that hold the two halves of the body together. Now you can prise them apart and remove the inner chute. Then it's easy to remove the blockage. Couldn't Bosch have done a better job? Well, of course, but maybe they expect customers to just buy a new shredder when the current one is clogged up solid. Note that once the blockage has been cleared, the shredder still works as well as it did when brand new 23 years ago. And it is super quiet!

Any issue if the filter is reversed so chips don't stick to the ribbed side?

REALLY wish they would've allowed to raise the hand when in Trolley mode. I'm fairly tall and it's awkward to push/pull it in Trolley mode.

Load of garbage. Not worth the effort or the money. Quicker to use the old method and takes an absolute age to clean. Gimmick worth avoiding.

As I said in other comments..on my 570, the cut line happens about 2mm to the right of the guide notch…it should be spot on for the money and being DeWalt. The construction looks robust and engineered..so why have the guide notched misaligned (and no..I’m not confusing the bevel cut guide…the error is to the right.

BULL when you say that you can get another 3 feet by just pushing in the button. Even when you push in the button and start pulling out, the button does not appear in the lower hole. Why did I waste my time and money on this piece of crap. I’ll call the plumber tomorrow.
